Winter Menu

Our kitchen team are led by our fantastic Head Chef, Scott Wright, who together with his talented team aim to offer a mix of delicious pub classics and mouth watering daily specials, using fresh, local, seasonal produce wherever possible. During the warmer months we focus on fresh fish including plenty of fresh IOW crab & lobster, which remain firm favourites among our customers and we have become rather famous for our delicious Crab Ramekin.

Sunday Lunch

On Sundays we offer our Sunday Lunch menu alongside our Winter Menu served from 1200-1900hrs (with last orders at 1700hrs). Choose from Roast sirloin of beef, Braised lamb shank, Confit pork belly with crunchy crackling or Sweet potato and cashew nut roast each served with all the trimmings - we’re talking crispy Roast Potatoes, homemade fluffy Yorkshire puddings, fresh local Seasonal Vegetables and lashings of rich Gravy. Our usual menu is also available. Booking strongly advised to avoid disappointment. Go on, give it some fort!

Signature Cocktails

Enjoy a ‘East Wight Martini‘ or a ‘Seaview Spritz‘ as well as our take on classic cocktails such as ‘The Party Starter‘ – our version of an Espresso Martini – which someone recently reviewed as “The Best Espresso Martini they’ve ever had”! Another firm favourite is ‘The Sun Downer‘ to enjoy whilst watching the evening dinghy race and we now offer a "Cocktail of the Week" to keep it interesting...

Special Events/Private Dining

Whether you are celebrating a birthday, wedding, christening, another special occasion or just having a get together we can put on a special event menu to suit your budget and needs. Or choose from any of our delicious set menus - all using fresh locally sourced seafood and ingredients like our famous Surf 'n Turf sharing boards pictured here. And occasionally, by prior arrangement, it is sometimes possible to pre-order your favourite dish from our menu or specials boards to make sure we have it on the day.

Perhaps you are looking for a private area or exclusive use of the upstairs dining room, a wonderful and charming venue to host private functions for up to 55 guests. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the downstairs bar in the winter or on our beachfront patio during the summer months.
